This mod adds several new items, armors, and autons to the game. The Recycler Auton will allow you to recycle armor into a new type of resource (Recycled Armor Materials) for sell or use. The RAM can be used to repair armor. The Extruder Auton uses RAM to create Recycled Armor Segments. See readme for details. Dock with the autons and navigate through the dockscreens to use them. Both autons return to your cargo hold after you undock with them. |

Didn't expect this one to be done 5 days ahead of schedule. Will give it a whirl tomorrow and get back to you. Can't wait to dive into this one.

I urge everyone to give this one a shot. TranscendentGeek really has this knack for modding interesting new features into the game.
TG also outlined his plans for the next version of this mod, which may very well include crafting weapons from scratch using interchangeable parts.
I like Weapons Extended 4 & the other "400+ New Weapons" mod, but imagine being able to have the same variation constructable from a pool of parts which is mostly shared. Turn your Bushido X-ray laser into a dual one, or even an array configuration, then put it on a turret to make it omnidirectional. You might even be able to create your own ICX-type devices by recycling weapons you don't use much.
The possibilities are virtually limitless...
