ODM Civilian Crafts View Mod
Screenshot This is really more of a mashup mod, since it allows for several ships from other modders to show up ingame through ship tables. Supported ships/mods are:
Ancora, Cestus, Paper Fleet V2, Danu, Foomerians, Starlight, Stalwart, and Osaka.
INSTRUCTIONS: Add this mod and one of the above ship mods to your Extensions folder. They will show up as traders or guards for stations. Have fun!

Okay! Time to make more ships as bystanders :3

Shane Filomena 26.02.2013 04:43

I keep hitting the + button but it ignores me:(

I ALWAYS wanted this : but I actually wanted the ALL the approved ships ( Meaning the really good , Sexy-Enough-For-Transcendence- Ships )put into the Official games ( at least as Traffic ).

Uploaded at 38 downloads. Added some text to settings.xml so players can add other ships to the game.

WillyTheSquid 04.03.2013 19:04

YES!

RPC 20.03.2013 12:03

Reuploaded at 73 downloads. I disabled two paper ships by default: they have a devastator weapon that, combined with Transcendence's AI, will most likely end up destroying the station it was guarding.

RPC 18.07.2013 19:55

Reuploaded at 174 downloads. Fixed a bug where I forget to add vanilla ships to spawn tables. Mod ships are now integrated with vanilla, so you see them *along* with vanilla ships.

Pixelfck 19.07.2013 12:24

Feel free to add the Brigand-class scout ( http://xelerus.de/index.php?s=mod&id=1275 ) to this mod.

RPC 20.07.2013 02:33

Pixelfck, you can add Brigand-class scouts through the settings.xml. If you want me to add it to the mod can you suggest some spawn tables?

Pixelfck 22.07.2013 16:30

If you think they blend in well enough, please add them to the mod. There are some (basic) spawn tables in the file ExtEncounters.xml (&tbBrigansShips;) in mod Black Market Addition ( http://xelerus.de/index.php?s=mod&id=1276 )

How do create the Extensions Folder

and Install

Peter 08.05.2014 10:41

Couldn't I go into the ship code and then give it a superlaser and then in game there is now a godship ally?

RPC 19.05.2014 10:51

Yes that is always a possibility with modding ;)

Updated at 387 downloads to fix issues with instructions in Settings.xml. I forgot to say that the ship unid must also be added in Civilian Crafts.xml (in the ENTITIES section).

RPC 23.06.2014 08:11

Updated at 417 downloads.

Totally forgot the tags on this mod, sorry about that digdug >.<

Updated again at 420 downloads. Sorry to those three downloaders :(

I accidentally updloaded the old version. This update is the newer version.

AssumedPseudonym 23.06.2014 22:23

I think those were all me, downloading and double-checking that I hadn’t accidentally unzipped an older version I already had on my computer. No worries. ^.~

AssumedPseudonym 23.06.2014 22:24

 …So were the next three; one to actually get the update, two due to browser glitch… ¬.¬;

oldmanwynter 24.06.2014 05:48

The Ancora and Cestus npc versions show up as starter ships. I think it's because their base class is set as initial :(

oldmanwynter 24.06.2014 05:58

Also, the Osaka and Corporate Command ships show their name on the system map.

oldmanwynter 24.06.2014 06:22

Though, that may be a problem with PSD... Further testing is required.

RPC 21.07.2014 19:56

Ancora and Cestus being playerships is intentional since I added them before I figured out a way to make things work AND didn't require duplicating modships. I will fix the names in the system map (since Crafts spawns playership versions of ships and that interferes with PSD).
