This adds a weapon found as an endgame reward in Drake Technologies Alpha, the Tachyon Beamer. When fired, it charges up for about a second before unleashing a powerful antimatter slicer beam that starts wide but gradually thins into nothing after a half second later.Seems good? This mod lets you start the game with a modified version of the Tachyon Beamer installed. As a Lamplighter competitor, this weapon is overpowered until near the end of the game, but the point of this mod is to let you test drive a shiny new and unusual toy now, not offer balanced gameplay. If you want balance, get the Drake Technologies Alpha mod instead and earn this weapon the hard way. Also added is a lightsaber with color select and simulated motion blur. Motion blur means rotating the ship fast enough will cause the beam to widen and deform... and gain WMD while the effect lasts. This weapon is also found in Drake Technologies Alpha, available at the Tinkers. |

Reuploaded at 16 downloads. Beam should no longer hit a given target twice if either are moving.

Updated to 1.7 at 330 downloads. Weapon updated here as done for Drake Technologies Alpha. Also added the Lightsaber from Drake Technologies. Now you have two weapons to play with.
