AutonsExtended v5p8 +Encounters | |
The latest version of Autons Extended. New to this version are mine-layer autons (suggested by Iocrymdestroyer), multi-weapon Spinner autons, super-sized SuperMule autons, a whole family of TriBlaster multi-shot autons, and a number of other unique autons that can really make (or break) your day. (Many of these autons are also improved with randomly enhanced shields, weapons, and/or armor.) Also included is a whole new mod: AutonItems+Encounters v1. This mod introduces new encounters with ships or autons, both enemy and friendly, that have their own auton escorts (in other words: convoys!). Also built-in is a new, enhanced replacement for the standard Auton Dealer. As always, comments welcome and enjoy! |

I get an error <OnDestroy> event:Mismatched open parenthesis. seems to be in the encounters file but i just had a quick look and couldnt find it. ( not a coder tho )

Yes, AutonItems+Encounters is buggy. I had no idea how to find everything until I got Notepad++. I am working on fixing this now. --dosbox-gamer

The 200d was recently fixed to be concidered enemy by the radar, omni weapons, other autons, etc. I suggest you try to fix the Anarchist, Pirate, and Plague autons too.
Those fiendish Anarchists' and Plagues! If none of your weapons can reliably hit something so small and fast and you can't twoshot them they are a MENACE! Without a targeting rom you can't even shoot them with Stilletoes or omnis and your autons ignore them!

to each of the </OnDestroy>line ends to close it up and it loads into the game ( no error message ) : I figured this out by comparing the <onDestroy> set with one from SICMS' Battlestation .
I enjoyed what you did with the Autons : and the convoys : I killed a few mules to see what they carried and then it left me wondering : " where did they get that? ".
Great work, just close up those open ends in the encounters xml and I am sure many will enjoy it.

I just looked at this again with Np++ and cannot find the unmatched paratheses. Is it ACC "status", ACC "OrderHunt", or somewhere else?
