This is my take on an Asteroid Scanner. It is incorporated into the default Miners Hold, so no need to install another device. At the moment it detects ore with 100% certainty, so it might not be exactly balanced. This is very similar to one of the Software components of Prophets V.U.I, but it is a standalone mod. |

love this one :) you may want to change "found ore " on the map for just one letter like o or x and change color of it from green to something else ,because so many markers make stations on map hard to find among asteroids

So, based on some small feedback, I decided to try another approach. The cargo hold is now a usable device, that targets the nearest ore bearing asteroid. It's range has increased quite a lot, but you need to work a little bit more. If you have a current game, do *not* replace the mod, as it will break your game!!!. Updated at 175 downloads. Criticism welcome. ;)
