2 things, one, it's a Ferrari it should be unholy fast and handle like nothing else, basically add speed and turning speed. Two, the headlights shouldn't be omni. The headlights on a Ferarri face forward. no other direction. other than that, i love it.
Good points, Orthag. I will implement them, and reupload the file sometime tomorrow.
Nice ride, Saber!
Okay Orthag, the mod has been changed to reflect your suggestions.
Thank you StealthX; try the newest version.
Squee! yes, i said squee, got a problem with that?
Sounds like a good fighter, but I seem to have a problem.
Starting a new game with this ship - Transcendence crashes from an error that it cannot catch (My guess is, your XML's are okay, but something else clashes with it?)
UPDATE: Eh, moron, I should have tried that...
Your mod works perfectly with the standard game - the crash happens when trying to start The Network with it.
I know of that porblem with the Network. I have no idea whatsoever why it does this
its good only one thing IT CANT FIGHT
Please add a screenshot to this mod, as it adds custom graphics.
Also, I've checked your bitmask, and you didn't make it correctly (for any of your ships it seems). Check george's bitmasks to see how its done. Because you set backcolor="...", its assuming any non-black pixel to be white, but that still leaves the problem that there is in fact a black pixel in the middle of mask, resulting in a 'hole' in the car.
Move this to godmod.
You start with a 1.5 GW reactor (requiring xenotite fuel rods when you make a dent in its energy stores) and nigh-indestructable armor. And some kind of custom super-fast inertialess drive that makes it really hard to shoot anything and really detracts from any carlike handeling it might have had.
Oh, and the bitmask problems are still there, thought you have to park on a sun to see them practically, and it's better than a screenshot I was once provided where the car was going photo negative over a planet >_>.
